Sewing After School

Description and Cost

Sewing After School is a program that has been offered at Sew Crafty for 16 years. The format is simple – your child comes to Sew Crafty on the same day of the week either every week or every other week and arrives as soon as they can get here after dismissal from school. They can stay for an hour and a half for $60.

Program Details

We provide the sewing machines and all the materials they need to make whatever projects they choose are included in that price. The range of projects we offer is wide – tote bags, clothing, hats, fancy pillows, many other styles of bags, stuffed animals, aprons, zippered pouches, and even quilts! The lessons are tailored to each individual.

Everyone gets a “cubby” to keep their unfinished projects in so they can complete it next time they come. There is no obligation to continue for any specific time frame, they can dispense with attending any time they wish. I’m only taking 2 students per day this year as I no longer have access to an assistant teacher, so spaces will fill quickly.
