Have you been thinking of trying your hand at making a quilt? Why not start with a quilted wallhanging instead of a whole quilt? This pattern of piecing creates a look similar to stained glass. There will be lots of pre-cut half-hexi shapes cut out of lots of fun fabrics for you to choose from to make your “window”. You will make 4 stained glass “blocks” and sew them together to create a wall hanging. If you enjoy this process of piecing you MAY want to make 12 or 20 blocks to create a whole quilt. There won’t be time in this workshop to create that many blocks, but once you learn the process you could accomplish that at home.
