Summer Camp is over and Sew Crafty is on VACATION thru Sept. 22nd

We had another wonderful Summer of Sewing Camp this year!  But, now it’s time to relax and regroup and come up with new project ideas for the school year.  Our Sewing After School Program will resume on Sept. 26th and then the following 2 weeks, Oct. 2-6 and Oct. 9-13 we will be having Fall Break Sewing Camp AND Sewing After School, so those will be two very busy weeks.  Consequently, we will not be scheduling any evening workshops or private lessons until October 16.

SUMMER CAMP IS GOING GREAT!

SewingIt’s amazing to see how focused the girls stay throughout the day as they sew their projects.  It’s truly inspiring!

SUMMER CAMP IS COMPLETELY FULL

You can add your daughter’s name to the wait list by emailing Ms. Toni at sewcraftytoni@gmail.com.

ALL BUT ONE WEEK OF SUMMER CAMP IS FULL!

Well, as predicted, Summer Sewing Camp filled up VERY fast this year because we’re only taking 6 girl per week as opposed to the 9 that we used to take.  The benefit of this is that the girls will get to sew the entire time they’re here each day whereas they used to have to take turns crafting in the craft room for a part of the day.  There is still space available in the final week of camp, which runs from August 21-25.  Most schools are back in session by then, but a few aren’t.

SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE IS POSTED

So, the schedule for Summer Camp 2017 has been posted.  But please note that registration does not OPEN UNTIL FEBRUARY 1st!  It will be more important than ever to register promptly because we are only going to take SIX girls per week this year.  We’ve always taken NINE, but there is only space enough for six to sew at a time, so we used to have to rotate the girls throughout the day, having 3 at a time staying in our first floor crafting room so the other 6 girls could be upstairs sewing.  Now, with only six girls signed up per week,  they can ALL be sewing ALL day!  The girls never seemed to mind taking a turn doing crafts for an hour and a half each day, but it was always obvious that they would rather be sewing the whole time.  We’re looking forward to this new format!
